The web has matured :: Smarthphone app development. Coming soon!
This Post has Leave a Comment
In the recent months I have had a few people asking me if I offered smartphone app development services. In some instances, clients confused a smartphone app and a smartphone compatible website. The difference between the two is not the focus of this post, but I will cover it nevertheless. A smartphone is a high-end – advanced if you will – mobile phone that run multiple applications concurrently (or not) in a way traditional cellphones couldn’t. One such important feature is the ability to browse the web just as on a regular computer. These applications (programs) are developed usually using high level programming languages such as java and c++. A smartphone compliant website is one that can run on smartphone browsing apps and display properly. Most websites have a specialized version of the website to run on smartphones given differences from conventional computer browsing.
To be clear, this is simply to announce that we are starting our smartphone app development on February 1st 2012. We are already gearing up for the right infrastructure and working out all specifics with our partners to that end.
I will keep you updated…:)
